  18. **ACROSS THE TRACKS** 
  19. Find the bum in here, and give him some money. Type in 
  20. -2,000,000,000 for your amount.  You will then get 2 billion 
  21. gold. This only works in the original version of this IGM, so 
  22. it won't work everywhere.

  28. **ORPHANAGE SECTION**
  29. Empty your LORD bank to zero before doing this.  With James at the 
  30. orphanage, bet more gold that you have on hand.  It will give you a 
  31. negative amount.  Exit the LORD game, then go back in, you will now
  32. have 2 billion gold.  **See explanation of NEGATIVE GOLD at end of
  33. file.

  35. **ARAGON'S TIMER 1.0**

  37. When it comes to good cheat-proof IGMs, Aragon's Timer usually makes 
  38. the list...not anymore!  Here's how to do the cheat:
  39. You'll need another player's cooperating with you.  If you 
  40. think that no-one else has played Aragon's Timer today, you 
  41. should enter and exit the IGM alone without playing the game to make 
  42. sure the data file is reset.  Once you have done that, both of you 
  43. should enter Aragon's Timer.  You play the game; your partner doesn't.  
  44. You exit back to LORD first, then your partner exits to LORD (Precise 
  45. timing is a must, since you may not be able to talk to each other.)
  46. Now that you're both in LORD, it's time to go back to Aragon's Timer.  
  47. Both of you enter Aragon's Timer.  Your partner plays the game; you 
  48. don't.  Your partner exits Aragon's Timer first, then you exit Aragon's 
  49. Timer second.   The result:  If you're both good at Aragon's Timer, 
  50. both of you have increased your wealth by 50%.  Here's the cool part: 
  51. if you followed the above instructions, Aragon's Timer will have NO 
  52. record of either of you playing the game!   That's right...both of you 
  53. can go back and play Aragon's Timer FOREVER!...or until you run out of 
  54. time...or the sysop catches you.  :)   This worked for me locally under 
  55. Aragon's Timer 1.0. (I had two LORD games running under two different 
  56. windows in win3.11.)  I don't know of any updates to Aragon's Timer.

  58. **ALADDIN'S PALACE**
  59. **::UPDATE FROM STANLEY CHIU...the Gentleman Genius::**
  60. The `s  code has never worked in ALADDIN'S PALACE not even in 
  61. version 1.25 and older. (Mike Neale also told me this, I just did 
  62. not click to what I was being told.SF)  First of all, I'll elaborate 
  63. on the weapon/armour situation. If you sell your weapon, you'll get 
  64. the money, plus you keep the strength of that particular weapon.  
  65. The same holds true for the armour.  Another thing is how to get 
  66. two billion gold as often as you want. Of course, Iago will only 
  67. visit you once per day... but you can arrange it so that you can make 
  68. him come at anytime. =)  All you need to do is change your name, either 
  69. in the IGM, or with the bartender - it doesn't matter. Upon re-entering 
  70. the IGM, it will think it is your first time in, so it will give you all 
  71. the random events again. Of course, then you can get the two billion gold 
  72. as many times as you wish.  NOTE:  If you win the negative two billion 
  73. bet with Iago, you don't go into negative, but rather, you get two hundred 
  74. million and something gold. So it's still enough to buy a Blood Sword and 
  75. a Golden Armour...which would do just fine, unless you're REALLY greedy.

  77. Of course, when you change your name in Aladdin's Palace, you can
  78. also train again, so you can gain additional skill points for Thieving,
  79. Mystics and Death Knight. Also, with this, you can go OVER the regular
  80. 40 maximum skill points that LORD allows. For example, I believe I
  81. have 55 Mystic use points, and 46 Thieving skill points. The formula
  82. for that is simply the number of points divided by five, so I start the
  83. day off with 9 Thieving uses.  As the number of skill points increase,
  84. the uses do also.
  85. Lastly, you can change your name inside Aladdin's Palace to just color
  86. codes, i.e., `1`4`!`$, which will make attacking you by others IMPOSSIBLE.
  87. They will have absolutely no way of bringing your name up in the prompt.

  94. **::NEW INFORMATION Supplied by Mike Neale::**
  95. Every time you go into Aladdin's palace, try selling a fairy, even if 
  96. you don't have one. It will buy your fairy every time you enter, even 
  97. if it's more than once a day!  Another thing that I learned from an 
  98. earlier version regards buying and selling a weapon.  Buy a Wan's 
  99. Weapon from the regular shop and sell it in Aladdin's Palace.  Then go 
  100. back to the regular shop and do it all over again.  As many times as 
  101. you want.  What happens is, you buy the weapon for 1m and it 'says' it 
  102. offers you 500k when you sell it.  It actually  gives you 5m!  PLUS keep 
  103. an eye on your strength column!  Every time you buy and sell the Wan's 
  104. Weapon, your strength keeps going up accordingly.

  113. **AXEHANDLER'S ARENA**
  114. IF THE GAME IS REGISTERED, go to where you can bet on fights.  Enter 
  115. "-2000000000" as your bet.  See the fight...and hope you lose. If you 
  116. do, then you just made 2 billion gold.  If not, then continue repeating 
  117. the same procedure until you get your 2 billion gold.  You can also 
  118. purchase lockers to put your excess money/gems/and such in there.  
  119. This is really good for when you are about to kill the dragon and reset.  
  120. You will be able to get up to a high level quickly when you have a 
  121. stash of cash and gems waiting for you after the reset.
  122. **::NEW INFORMATION::**
  123. If you have changed your name you do not have to buy another locker, 
  124. just press the keys just as you would if your name was the same as when 
  125. you purchased the locker, and it will take your right in.

  129. **DAEMONICA, SATAN'S DOMINION** v2.0
  130. R.L. Simpson of The Computer Control Center Node 2 contributes this:
  131. Get your name changed to get unlimited kids, after getting about 500
  132. you can then sell the kids in the fairies etc. shop inside this IGM, 
  133. their price is very generous.  Next, go to Medusa's place located inside 
  134. this IGM. It allows you to buy the skill points and uses very cheaply.  
  135. Also you can take the money from the the sell of your kids and buy gems 
  136. at the gem pit that is in this IGM.  Then you can convert them for 
  137. strength or defense.  Mr. Simpson states, "This IGM is pretty much a one 
  138. stop cheat to success."

  140. **DRAGONS BREATH MOUNTAIN**
  141. Go to the armor shop buy and sell armor repeatedly, you will gain 
  142. a lot of defense.  Yet, another trick on how to get 2 billion gold.
